Personal Service That Provides Dignity and Respect
Personal service is when a loved one needs help discretely and respectfully with showering, dressing, and using the toilet. When a parent that has raised you and taught you most of what you know now has a crippling disease, they may now need assistance with many of the personal tasks that they previously did on their own. Many of our clients are modest and do not want their children, nieces or nephews to aid in the person matters like dressing, and showering. We can take the pressure off of you having to dress, shower and take care of all the personal matters that are needed. This allows elevates much of the embarrassment that a client has when a family member has to be present at some of the more private times during the day. Allow our personal service caregivers allow your loved one to keep the dignity and respect they still wish to have.
Care and Understanding
Though our caregivers have done this hundreds of times for other clients, it still may be awkward for someone to help with personal services that your parent just met. It can be awkward when a child now has to become a caregiver for their parent, who just recently could accomplish these tasks on their own. Having someone outside the family alleviate this problem, so that the time spent with you mom or dad is quality time, and not when they need personal service. Our caregivers experience and respect towards your parent will make an awkward situation, bearable, and in-time, routine and normal. Let us handle the person care of a client and all you need to worry about is the enjoyable time you will have with your loved one.
